Things on my mind right now

- Sushi

- Exams

- Am i getting the swine flu?

- Mash ups

- Wolfgang Gartner’s fat phat tracks… If you have not heard of him I suggest you go look up a few of his songs. Comes from Texas. (Wow! he isn’t from Europe) If I had one person to mentor me into how to make good dance music I would choose this man (even over Crookers)

Wolfgang Garnter – Flashback Vs Intergalactic (John Marr Mash up)

Its a simple yet effective mash up. Flashback as a song has ‘IT’. ‘IT’ being that special addictive beat that makes you want to listen to it ten times over. John Marr has his own website where you can download all his mash ups. But credit to Wolfgang Gartner for the amazing tune.

Bonus!

Wolfgang Gartner – Bounce Low (John Marr) [BOOTLEG]

This mash up John Marr has been just a TAD creative with the way he mixed this. Yet again its more about the original work. the mix up would just go down well at parties

ps. I observed the popularity of the Three Fingers Remix of the Calvin Harris song. Wow that song is clappy. But its better than the airy boring start to the original version of the song. thats IMO.

Wow

Bastille stop trying to steal our readers bahaha. but on a serious note dude. Pretty much every single one of your links is dead in your article which saddened me

  5. hatch | June 14th, 2009 at 3:49 pm

The links are not dead for me dave.

  6. wow | June 14th, 2009 at 6:55 pm

My bad. I should have read properly. But i went and looked at figured was mediafire. I was right clicking. But my only problem against your POSTS Bastille is that you have gone out and pretty much giving out everything he has done in 320 and for FREE.

i would much rather buy a few of his tracks and support him make more music than download all your freebies. That is the reason i went out of my way to find the mash ups. and thats what us blogs are here for. to support dance music

Dave, the ethical blogger haha nah clever though, I try to knock down quality to 192Kbps.

@Peter Griffin – Ahhh not sure, our designer is messing about with a few things so might have caused an error… ill have a look but we are thinking of direct downloads or mediafire or something. Will keep you posted

  13. John Marr | August 13th, 2009 at 8:32 pm

Also regarding dead links. WOW, You have permission to link deirectly to my site for the mashups instead of using yousendit links.. :D

  14. John Marr | August 13th, 2009 at 8:34 pm

    Hi Ben,

My ‘Bounce Low’ track was made using Sony Acid. I had to do alot of cutting up of the orginal Bounce track so would be impossible with VDJ..
