First word on one of my favorite festivals for 2009, ‘We Love Sounds’… release below
We Love Sounds winter festival ‘09 announced
It’s official – First international DJs’ announced
We Love Sounds returns this winter, with Sydney date – 6th June. DJ Mag’s number one DJ Armin Van Buuren will play an ‘exclusive’ Sydney show at We Love Sounds, performing an extended set in his Armin Only arena.
With a number one single under his belt Armand Van Helden, US dance music heavyweight, will return to Australia for the first time since his sellout 2007 tour.
Joining Armin and Armand is We Love Sounds regular, and one of Australia’s favourite international DJs, James Zabiela. James will bring his yet to be unleashed exclusive light show, more details to be released shortly. Unofficial member of the Swedish House Mafia Laidback Luke (maybe unofficial because he’s not Swedish!!) will also play at the festival.
The remainder of the lineup is yet to be announced … Expect at least 45 more acts on the bill, more HUGE live acts and DJs, the latest and greatest in cutting edge techno, electro, progressive, deep house, and nu-disco … If you thought 2008 was good, We Love Sounds 2009 is set to shatter all your expectations. I’ve been the past few years and its been pretty fun, they generally get some good artists and heaps of fun.
