BOB SINCLAR FT SHABBA RANKS LOVE YOU NO MORE CHUCKIE REMIX

It was back in May when Hatcho had a chat to the Parisian-Power-House Don Rimini and told us to keep a lookout for a number of producers including netherlands resident and stoner-house-beatsmith Chuckie.

Recent x marks the spot tracks have been ‘Let The Bass Kick’ and a lick on David Guettas ‘Sexy Bitch’.

Chuckies remix of Bob Sinclars ‘Love you No More’ isn’t much different from the rest with a token and propelled beat, what does make Chuckies mixes and originals stand out is his texture and ability to break down, rebuild the bones and flesh out the track.

…IS GONE…Generic!!

My first question is where the fuck has Estelle gone? My second question is why the fuck is Guetta selling out to all the yankee rappers? Will.I.AM, Pitbull, Kelly Rowland just to name a few. These guys realise their music is outdated and have made the desperate jump onto the dance music band wagon, which involves Guetta adding his now generic (use to be innovative) beat in the background of their tracks.

Estelle + David Guetta – Estelle is gone (DJ Digital Dave Mash Up)

With that rant said, Dj digital Dave has made a sexy mash up with a nicely synced accapella of that Estelle, Kanye duo they did a year ago. If your crowd is drunk, this shit is crunk (crazy drunk). big ups to WFGC for the track.

Pic – Hobogestapo

This week has been CRAZZZZZZY and seems to be continuing but thank god its Friday today and admittedly my birthday as well. Think everyone’s getting ready for Earthdance on Saturday from 9am till 6pm and then venturing along to see Mission Control at Oxford Arts later in the evening.

This weeks cauldron of music includes Crookers, Van She, G.L.O.V.E.S, Drop the Lime aka Curses an extremely heavy edit of Goose’s ‘Black Gloves by The Bloody Beetroots… so lots of Glove loving!

Wow pointed out our unhealthy and almost obsessive nature of Crookers and Stoneyroads but continues this week with Crookers tearing up David Guetta with his track Joan of Arc giving it a stuttery goodness. Somehow I don’t think Joan would have ‘envisioned’ this one.

Next up is Aussie lads Van She with their un-mistakable track Changes getting some funky loving from Damn Arms kiddo G.L.O.V.E.S. This has been on high repeat since grabbing it about 2 weeks ago and is 320 for Dj’s.

Van She – Changes (G.L.O.V.E.S Remix)

Of late the heavy hitters of the euro world have taken over Stoneyroads and if it wasn’t heavy enough with just ze Crookers both Goose and the Bloody Beetroots have come together and given ‘Black Gloves’ a smash in the face. Turning what was already an already banging track into an experience.

An old favorite that has been collecting e-dust within the digital folders on my computer is a classic Fugee’s track ‘Ready or not’ getting mixed by a personal favorite Drop the Lime aka Curses.

The Fugee’s – Ready or not (Drop the Lime Remix)

That wraps it up for today’s lesson…. I’d keep your eyes and ears peeled for Sunday when I’m putting up a 2 minute sample from an Empire of the Sun track, not to be missed.
