We all heard and saw the Cinespace Ed Banger Records brawl between Vincent Belorgey aka Kavinsky and some bouncers that then included much of the Ed Banger crew and now footage has dropped from the beloved Onelove team (Generik and Joe da cameraman) who were on the scene to witness it all.

and after watching it was hyped just a little bit more then it needed although one half of Daft Punk Thomas Bangalter was present to throw down a total of 3 tracks woo…

Now some of you may not actually remember Kavinsky as his last appearance was when Daft Punk toured Australia.. 2007? and he had an EP around the same time again memory is hazy?

This was one of his few remixes i’ve got on hand that gives you a good idea of the sit-in-car-simulator-type-beats he used to transform a once preppy pop song to ultra cool.

EDIT: Here is a Kavinsky original ‘Testarossa Overdrive’ zapped by fellow Ed Banger-lite SebastiAn who dropped new material recently (spy it at Too Many Sebastians) and was played BY Busy P at his bday bash. The track is very distinctive of that original sounds Ed Banger Records was born on.. heavy clash!

You might be getting mixed signals from this post as to whether I hate or love Kavinsky and its neither. I love his tracks but he needs to get his ass back in gear and create some time-warpy goodness.
