Looks like Emil and Friends are taking off in the blogosphere and even got a release on ‘Transparent Records’ (read here) without even meeting face to face!

So we’ve seen the Passion Pit Re-work a few posts back and there’s also an MGMT cover/thingy floating over the web.

The typical electronic ‘plucky’ stringed madness isnt the only trick up Emil and Friends sleeve though, with soon to be released ‘Tigerstripe’ having been remixed incestually by Emil!

Sounds more like a Jr pop version of early MSTRKRFT eg warp warp guitar warp + vocals.

Also got another Grum ‘Runaway’ mix dropped on our heads (following up from yesterday) by ‘Super Mal‘, usually remixes can give a totally unique sound, I’d say this compliments the original just a little bit more!

At times I really like downdowndown tempo tracks and if it includes Diplo, Laidback Luke and getting remix treatment by Switch and L-Vis 1990 I’m down.
