Crookers (blog) have just released a Japan only LP on mega cool Japanese label Avex Records. Much like what Jay-Z and Kid Cudi have done there’s a ton of collabs although it comes off more so as a quasi new release with a few twists on past material and not one, not two but three mixes of the album title and single ‘put your hands on me’ by Black Noise, Solo and Jesse Rose.

When I first heard the ‘Put Your Hands on Me’ Original I was ready to give Crookers the heave ho in what turned out to be an excessively tacky commercial release, the mixes turn things around with steady bass and a heap more life added (Solo especially).

    I think its always to the advantage of the artist if myspace is updated. Easier navigation. that being said the crookers blog aint to bad.
