A WEEK TO REMEMBER AND FORGET

I have not posted for over a week. With good reason. Let me explain this in the best terminology i can think of. Aliens attacking me.

I started the week off with a 10,000 word assignment (the alien) and major video production (the anal probe). The alien pretty much cornered me while the anal probe device was shoved up my butt. When the anal probing had been completed, I became free to “do what i want”, the only problem was the satellite (girl) that the alien anal probed up my butt went off signalling to me something was up. So i ripped the satellite out of my butt and ended up here… at my desk… with not a worry in the world.

To be frank I rather go through that kind of a week than not because life would be boring!!!!!

This was made by me after I had drunk half a bottle of tequila. I actually do not remember the process of making this but it strangely worked quite well. Honestly.

Twelves turn a corny 80′s song i despise into a classic disco house hit. man oh man, if you don’t download i ‘or ta stick my hand through the computer and shake you like one of those girls shake there booty in a 50 cent rap video.

Note -  I will be posting my video production major work on here if you want to see. And please conversate with me through the comments with whatever. I want to know if you love, hate, jizz, vomit etc on this post…

    I really hope that’s the last time you post iTunes files…. please. MP3 is good.
    As for the mashup… considering you were that drunk, it’s well “mashed together” pretty well, but I’m not a big fan (sorry). Mostly your choice of songs to mash together… Day N night which was overplayed, and Satisfaction which is way too irritatingly irritating to use as the foundation of a mashup, something a bit more subtle would be better?
    And you didn’t really get that creative with the mashup, so it was a bit bland.
    Anyways, not hating, just trying to give a listeners opinion :-)

    The twelves remix is, unsurprisingly great! Can’t complain.

    thanks broseph. yeah the mash up is simple. just a straight party tune for an uneducated dance music crowd. I dj at university so i sometimes have to sell out to commercial dance because everyone has MOS. so rather than playing bland old Day n Nite crookers remix, i will just twist slightly so it keeps me motivated!

    Mind you, the freshers this year have a much finer taste. I promise i will post a good mash/remix eventually. I actually have some already made up but I don’t want to put any of them until perfection is met ( if perfection is reachable!!! :-s haha)

    One thing you could do with song choice is choose a popular song, take it’s riff, and then mash with something not so well known but something that goes with it (musically). And that way, people get to relate to something commercial, and get educated with new music!

    And yeah, perfection is.. well.. perfection haha. In our, unfortunately, not so perfect world, perfection is pretty much impossible (although I hate saying that).

    If you’re into doing mashups and stuff, a good idea would be to get your pick of the top 10 songs of the month/week or whatever from Stoney Roads, and do a mashup of them. Like a 10 minute mix, of your favourites.
    That would be an awesome way of doing charts. (In my opinion).

    They both sound nuts, Considering you had half a bottle of tequila in your system and still managed to complete a mash up – good effort. the link for it’s expired, if you can host it again i’ll definately throw it into a set. e-mail me when you re-host it, if you can. Cheers!
